About Me
My journey, how I lead, and what I'm building now.
Hey there! I'm Jake Adler
I'm a technology leader with over 15 years of experience transforming enterprise technology and driving digital transformation. My journey began in academic technology at the University of Iowa and evolved into leading comprehensive consolidation initiatives that deliver significant cost savings while dramatically improving organizational capability.
As Chief Technology Officer at the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, I've led a complete digital transformation — consolidating systems, migrating to 100% cloud infrastructure, and building custom products that serve thousands of medical professionals worldwide. Today my focus is enterprise AI: giving staff an AI assistant platform, putting agents to work on high-volume workflows, and building the governance to scale it responsibly.
Collaborative Problem Solving
I work closely with stakeholders across all levels to understand needs, manage expectations, and deliver solutions that work for everyone. Technology projects succeed through partnership and communication.
Cloud-First Architecture
I champion cloud-based solutions that provide scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency. Modern organizations need infrastructure that can grow and adapt without constant reinvestment.
Applied AI
I treat AI as an operational capability, not a demo — agents and automations embedded in real workflows, measured by hours saved and quality gained, with cost and governance controls designed in.
Continuous Optimization
Technology is never “finished.” I believe in ongoing evaluation, refinement, and improvement to ensure systems continue delivering value as organizational needs evolve.
